We offer this service to all prospective patients so that they have an opportunity to meet Jamie directly, to share a little bit about themselves, and to ask any questions they might have about our practice and her therapeutic approach.

Please Note: Jamie is an Oregon (#R11588) & Washington (MFTA.MG.70029753) Licensed and Registered Marriage and Family Therapist and can only serve those who are residents of either Oregon or Washington.

What Makes Jamie's Practice Different:

  • Nervous system-forward approach that prioritizes regulation and safety before diving into deeper therapeutic work

  • A blend of somatic wisdom and athletic resilience - understanding both the body's capacity for healing and the discipline required for sustainable change

  • Neurodiversity-affirming care that celebrates your unique neurological design rather than trying to fit you into conventional molds

  • Flexible session options including traditional talk therapy, walking sessions, creative expression, and movement-integrated therapeutic work

  • A focus on cycle-breaking and generational healing - interrupting patterns that no longer serve you or your family system

  • Collaborative treatment approach where you remain the expert of your own experience while receiving skilled, compassionate guidance

  • Integration with holistic medical care through The Buddha's Medicine's comprehensive wellness approach

  • Specialized expertise in eating disorders, neurodiversity-affirming care, couples work, and parenthood transitions informed by both professional training and lived experience as a mother of two neurodivergent children

  • IFS and Somatic EMDR training ensures evidence-based approaches that honor both psychological and physiological aspects of trauma and healing

  • Mother of neurodivergent children brings authentic understanding of family dynamics, parenting challenges, and the need for nervous system support in caregiving
