24-hour notice required. The booking deposit is nonrefundable for late cancellations.
LOCATION & ELIGIBILITY
We serve much of the Portland area with in-home massage services. Standard rates apply to locations within 7.5 miles of The Buddha’s Medicine clinic. For locations beyond that radius, an additional travel fee may apply. We generally accommodate appointments within a 12-mile radius, depending on availability.
Mobile and in-home massage therapy appointments are available to everyone — you do not need to be an existing patient of Dr. Matt or a client of Jamie to book a single session, bundle, or package.

Your licensed massage therapist will arrive with the necessary massage equipment and prepare your space for the session. We recommend having a clear, comfortable area available for the massage table before your appointment.

Wear comfortable clothing before your session, clear an appropriate space for the massage table, address any potential safety hazards, ensure that a restroom is available to your therapist, and ensure that pets can be comfortably managed during the appointment. Your therapist will communicate any additional preparation requirements in advance.

We serve much of the Portland area with in-home massage services. Standard rates apply to locations within 7.5 miles of The Buddha’s Medicine clinic. For locations beyond that radius, an additional travel fee may apply. We generally accommodate appointments within a 12-mile radius, depending on availability. At this time, we do not offer in-home massage services in Washington State. If you’re unsure whether your location is within our service area, please contact us to confirm.

Yes, your therapist will provide a massage table for your appointment, unless you request to use your own.

Your credit card information, along with a 50% deposit, is required to book an appointment. The remainder of the payment will be processed once the appointment is completed.

We require a 20% gratuity for all in-home massage appointments. This will be processed along with the remainder of the payment after the massage.

Please contact us as early as possible if you need to change your appointment. You will recieve a full refund of your deposit if cancelled more than 24 hours in advance. If less than 24 hours' notice is given before cancellation, the booking deposit for the appointment will not be refundable.

Chris brings over eleven years of massage therapy experience and a genuinely global perspective to his work. His journey has taken him from Traditional Chinese Medicine studies in Chicago to Thai massage training in Chiang Mai, Ayurvedic treatments in India, and plant medicine traditions in Peru. A dedicated Buddhist practitioner with fifteen years of yoga practice, Chris embodies the integrative spirit at the heart of our clinic.
Beyond clinical work, Chris has served as a massage therapy instructor at the National Holistic Institute, guiding multiple cohorts of students from enrollment to graduation. His teaching background enhanced his already exceptional skill in reading bodies and adapting his hands-on care in real-time.
